Kindle Paperwhite - All your questions and answers here
Due to overwhelming demand in the USA, shipments to Australia are very limited. We wish we could import enough Paperwhites to supply the Australian demand but it isn't possible. We're doing the best we can.
Top questions about the Kindle Paperwhite
1) Can you let me know when you have them in stock?
2) Is the Kindle Paperwhite in stock already?
If an item is marked as "in stock" on our website, it means it's available. If it says "sold out", it means it is sold out. Please do not contact us asking if an item is available or not, just check on our website.
3) I have been waiting for many weeks, when are you going to have stock?
We'll receive stock every few days as Amazon catches up with the demand.
4) How much does the Kindle Paperwhite cost?
We only advertise prices of goods we have in stock. We're sorry if that upsets you.
5) I'm desperate for a Kindle Paperwhite, can you put my name on a waiting list?
6) Do you accept Pre-Orders?
We ship orders very fast and we're unable to reserve items or accept pre-orders. Our systems can't handle pending orders, we focus on shipping goods very fast.

I've received a notification that the Kindle Paperwhite was in stock, but now it says SOLD OUT.
The Paperwhite Kindles usually sell out in just a few hours, sometimes in less than 30 minutes. If the item is marked as "sold out", them we don't have any more units available. There is no need to send us an e-mail, if it says "sold out" then the item is really sold out and there is nothing we can do.

Why don't you provide a phone number? It'd be easier if I could just call someone about my question
We tried it before and it didn't work. We had a huge number of calls from customers with general questions about Kindles (Can it play music? I'm going to Japan, will it work there? How to increase the font size?...) or questions about delivery (Has it been dispatched? Is it going to be dispatched today? Can you guarantee delivery for tomorrow?... ). We would also receive hundreds of calls per day asking if we have a new Kindle model that has just been released in stock.
We had to allocate more staff / infrastructure to handle the volume and we reached a point were we had to include this cost into our products. This is no longer the case.
We offer excellent customer service via e-mail, which allows us to focus on what we do best and what our customers want the most: Best Prices, Quality Products and Fast Delivery. We know we will upset those who prefer to buy over the phone, but we will also make the vast majority of our customers happier.
Thank you for understanding this move to more efficiency and effectiveness. It helps us accomplish more to serve you better.
